They have extended their teachings online and offer a variety of online courses so that you can experience this profound and transformational work from the comfort of your home.  

Their trademark name, Harmonic Sounds® – originates from the idea of restoring universal harmony through sound. This universal harmony, once restored, refers to the absence of illness or dis-harmony. It also refers to the harmonics or overtones of which all sounds and vibrations are made, a universal scale which organises all sound and which has the capacity to holistically re-tune and restore both living things and objects to their optimum healthy and natural vibration.

Who We Are

Michele Averard and Nestor Kornblum are directors and co-founders of the Association of Sound Therapy. Nestor and Michele are a dynamic husband-and-wife team that have worked together since 1995, educating thousands of people in all aspects of the therapeutic power of sound. They conduct intensive courses on the healing and transformational uses of sound, with a focus particularly on the voice. Through vocal harmonics (overtone singing) and many other vocal techniques, in addition to professional education in sound therapy techniques with a number of musical instruments: Singing bowls, Gongs, Tuning forks and others. A course participant is taken on a ‘Sound Journey’ through the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions of sound.
