BRASS tuning forks are made of a much denser and heavier metal than aluminium, and therefore do not require the round weights. They vibrate for a long period and hold the frequency accurately until they stop vibrating. We have added an extra-long handle for comfort.
It has been confirmed by many sound and music therapists that any tone and its 3rd interval (e.g. C and E) when sounded together create a soothing, relaxing effect used for tranquilising or sedation.
